HOW TO APPLY
If you are a male (recognized medically and legally); have never been married or had a marriage annulled, have never fathered a child, and not a parent; a Singapore citizen; and at least 18 and under 29 years of age on January 1 in the year you hope to compete in the Mister Singapore pageant. We invite you to APPLY TODAY!
Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by the Mister International Organization Selection Committee which can take up to 5 business days. If approved, you will be contacted by a staff member.
Note there may be a small delay between submission and confirmation
Competition Process
COMPETITION PROCESS
After you apply and are accepted for the Mister Singapore pageant, you will receive the registration materials to officially register to enter the pageant. There is NO ENTRY FEE for the pageant. There is no performing talent competition and no previous pageant experience is necessary.
COMPETITION CATEGORIES
INTERVIEW
The selection committee members will use this opportunity to consider your personality and overall presence. This is your time to impress the selection committee members with your opinions, ability to communicate, and overall sense of self. The selection committee members are not looking for rehearsed answers.
You may wear whatever clothing you feel is appropriate for an interview and presents you in a sophisticated and self-confident manner. We suggest you wear comfortable business attire or a daytime suit.
SWIMWEAR
The selection committee members will have the opportunity to focus their attention on your overall fitness and the confidence with which you carry yourself during the swimwear portion of the competition.
A competition swimwear will be provided to you by the Mister International Organization. Due to the bright stage lighting considerations, you will want to pay special attention to the swimwear lining. We recommend that you wear a pair of light-colored g-string underneath your swimwear.
EVENING WEAR
The selection committee members will focus on your self-confidence and overall appearance, your sense of fashion, good taste, and the appropriateness of your suit selection to your personal style during the evening wear portion of the competition.
For the evening wear competition, you will need one full suit. Suit must be fitted before the competition. Please be sure you are comfortable walking up and down steps with appropriate shoes.

COMPETITION RULES
The winner of the Mister Singapore pageant must be confident. He must understand the values of our brand and the responsibilities of the title. He must have the ability to articulate his ambition. A contestant should demonstrate authenticity, credibility and exhibit poise under pressure. The men who compete embody the modern, global aspiration for the potential within all men.
The Mister Singapore pageant begins with preliminary interviews that includes a swimwear and evening wear presentation show. These preliminary events are especially important as it will be the first time the selection committee members and fans really get to know the contestants. The preliminary competition is the driving force in selecting the Semifinalists.
The live show and final competition kicks off with an announcement of the Semifinalists. Each of these contestants will walk the runway during the swimwear segment displaying his dedication to a healthy lifestyle.
The Semifinalists move on to the second stage of the competition during the evening wear segment. The selection committee members and fans will see the contestants' personal style as they walk the stage in their evening wear of choice. However, the exact design of the suit does not count towards the total score and instead the selection committee members focus on how confidently each man presents himself.
From the scores given in the swimwear and evening wear competitions, the Top 5 competitors are chosen, bringing them to the Final Question round. Each man is presented a question focused on various social, cultural and political topics. The Final Question round will determine the contestant’s ability to articulate themselves under pressure while sharing a thoughtful, well-informed response. Again, all scores are averaged and the Top 3 contestants move on to the Final Look.
During the last stage of the competition, the selection committee members are asked to make a decision based on their overall performance through the Final Look. Rather than score, this segment is ranked, meaning the selection committee members base their vote on who they think should win the title.
The event concludes with the host announcing the winner. In the event that the winner is unable to fulfill his duties, the first runner-up will take his place.
